When an alert is triggered, our dispatch team first attempts to communicate directly with the wearer through their watch to understand the situation and required assistance. We utilize a designated contact list, typically with the caregiver as the primary contact, who is promptly informed of any event. Recognizing the importance of family involvement, we offer the option for caregivers to check on their loved one before EMS is dispatched, unless the wearer explicitly requests immediate medical attention. Furthermore, in the event of a fall detection or emergency button press, a group message is instantly initiated, including dispatch and all contacts on the list. This feature ensures everyone stays informed and allows nearby family members to offer immediate support. For added peace of mind, each watch has an associated phone number; simply send a text message to this number to receive its current location, providing an alternative way to locate the wearer even if they aren’t answering their phone.
